Project 2059 – Sophie, Lakeview

Project 2059 is moving forward and we’re putting you in the driver’s seat–help us create the road map for Oregon’s future! With you behind the wheel, we’re already mapping a new route based on your input. We want our conversation about what matters to you regarding Oregon’s future to go virtual and viral. This means taking the debate directly to where you live and dream. What do we mean? We literally want to hear what you have to say. It is no longer required that you submit a vision statement to participate in the Project 2059 process- but if you have one, we’ll take it! You’ll see these plans posted online in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, here’s how to get started: FACEBOOK: Visit Project 2059: The Future Is Ours To Create Facebook Group and join the “Project 2059: ONLINE” discussion. Meet teens from across the state who are as into Oregon as you are. YOUTUBE: Find out when Travis Huntington of Voice Box Media will be in your neighborhood. Travis is touring high schools across the state to engage students in a multimedia visioning process. YOU get to tell US what your community’s needs are and what’s important to you. Check out what some young people around Oregon have already said on our YouTube page. YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY: Are you interested in hosting a visioning session in your school? Want to be our Project 2059 leader for your community? Contact Aili and Scott of the Project 2059 team by emailing project2059@oregon150.org, or calling 503.445.7120. SHOW
