Please ensure that you have made a backup of create-vision-statement.xls
There are 8 tabs... this is the first one... the instructions.
The next tab... "vision"... is where each time that you click on the "Refresh" button... a new Vision Statement will be generated. When you finally create the Vision Statement that suits you best... copy and paste it to the text editor (Microsoft Word) of your choice. There you can easily adjust the font size, type, and color to what suits you best. To copy it, you need to place the cursor into the cell at the left, bottom (with a bold black border around it) and copy it from there.
The next tab... "starters"... contains all of the currently available starting clauses to begin your Vision Statement. Find the one that suits you best, and make sure that the "cell" in column A is highlighted. If none of them suit you... please scroll down to the first available blank line, and insert your own... always being in the "cell" in column A. Also, in this section feel free to change any references to "we" or "our" to "Your Company Name".
The next tab... "adverbs"... contains all of the currently available adverbs to enhance the verb that you choose for your Vision Statement. Find the one that suits you best, and make sure that the cell in column A is highlighted. If none of them suit you... please scroll down to the first available blank line, and insert your own... always being in the "cell" in column A. You may also skip using an adverb by having a blank cell highlighted.
The next tab... "verbs"... contains all of the currently available verbs to choose for your Vision Statement. Find the one that suits you best, and make sure that the "cell" in column A is highlighted. If none of them suit you... please scroll down to the first available blank line, and insert your own... always being in the "cell" in column A.
The next tab... "adjectives"... contains all of the currently available adjectives to further describe the verb that you choose for your Vision Statement. Find the one that suits you best, and make sure that the "cell" in column A is highlighted. If none of them suit you... please scroll down to the first available blank line, and insert your own... always being in the "cell" in column A. You may also skip using an adjective by having a blank cell highlighted.
The next tab... "nouns"... contains all of the currently available nouns to describe what it is that will be key within your Vision Statement. Find the one that suits you best, and make sure that the cell in column A is highlighted. If none of them suit you... please scroll down to the first available blank line, and insert your own... always being in the "cell" in column A.
The next tab... "endings"... contains all of the currently available ending clauses for your Vision Statement. Find the one that suits you best, and make sure that the "cell" in column A is highlighted. If none of them suit you... please scroll down to the first available blank line, and insert your own... always being in the "cell" in column A.
At this point... click on the "vision" tab, and then click on the "Refresh" button, and a new Vision Statement will be generated with the selections that you decided on.
Just continue this process until you arrive at the generated Vision Statement that meets your needs.
Remember, column A is key... for any selection you desire, or for any new item you may wish to add.
